Single Phase 1/2hp spark proof motor. This is the spark proof version of the standard 128 litre vacuum pump suitable for use in open air or well ventilated spaces with R32 and R1234yf refrigerants.

NOTE: This is not an explosion proof vacuum pump and is only suitable for the mildly flammable A2L refrigerants above plus R410a, R134a and all previously available benign refrigerants. Explosion proof vacuum pumps must be certified for the actual application on a case by case basis. This capacity pump is the standard for all commercial activity ranging from domestics (faster) to heat pumps and supermarkets (small ones !) While we have smaller and larger capacity vacuum pumps, this is still the generally accepted standard.

The 2 stage oil sealed Range vacuum pumps have ultimate vacuums of better then 50 microns and feature an exhaust oil demister to prevent oil spillage. All pumps come with a 1/4" & 3/8" SAE suction fitting and we also have (Schrader Valve no loss refrigerant) adaptors costing $20 for those using R410A and R32 in the heat pump industry.
